About Me

I am a qualified teacher with over 13 years of experience working in education. I hold a Level 7 qualification in Literacy Difficulties and Dyslexia and have Accredited Teacher Status (ATS) of the British Dyslexia Association as well as being an associate member of PATOSS. This means I am able to provide high quality specialist teaching to primary and secondary aged learners with dyslexia and literacy difficulties. I have experience working with neurodivergent learners up to the age of 18, many of whom have co-occurring difficulties. I am a qualified dyslexia assessor, holding an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) and Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), meaning that I am qualified to conduct full diagnostic assessments.

I hold an enhanced DBS check, which is on the update service, alongside professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I am up to date on safeguarding training and renew this annually.
